Gabriel Bongiorno is a Director of Photography and a member of the IATSE International Cinematographers Guild (Local 600) and the Documentery Cinematographers Alliance. Recently, Gabriel was selected by the American Society of Cinematographers to participate as a mentee in their prestigious Vision Mentorship Program for the 2025–2026 session. Splitting his time between New York, Los Angeles, and New Orleans, he has built a career that has taken him around the world.


Gabriel’s work has been showcased at film festivals, aired on prime-time television across networks like ABC, FOX, Bravo, Food Network, HGTV, and Magnolia, and streamed on major platforms including Netflix, Peacock, Hulu, and Max.

Notable recent work includes Homicide Squad New Orleans, Season 2 is currently airing on A&E, commercial work for SHEIN and AARP, and the documentary short film Batsies, which has won several awards along a successful festival run.

 

Gabriel specializes in documentary, nonfiction series, commercials, brand films, and independent films. With a deep passion for storytelling and a collaborative approach, he blends his creative vision, technical expertise, and experience to craft a dynamic visual language tailored to each project.
